Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Support to ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of products to our customers. In this role, you will not only drive but also assist in the loading and unloading of goods, using warehouse equipment to support the delivery process. Your ability to communicate clearly with customers, manage time effectively, and ensure the safety of your loads is crucial to the success of this position.

Responsibilities of Logistics Driver

Use the company’s software system to complete and manage paperwork for each trip before leaving the facility.
Safely transport goods to destination locations, ensuring all shipments are verified against paperwork and obtaining required signatures for delivered materials.
Identify and follow the most efficient route to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of routes, times, and deliveries in accordance with state, federal laws, and company policy.
Regularly inspect and maintain your truck and equipment, reporting any issues or necessary repairs to ensure safe operations.
Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and floor lifts, to facilitate the loading and unloading process while adhering to all safety regulations.
Take on material handling duties as needed to ensure the smooth delivery of materials, including during loading and unloading.
Relay customer feedback, including concerns, complaints, damaged goods, returns, and competitive information to the relevant teams.
Provide regular updates to upper management and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Consistently maintain high levels of service quality and performance while following company policies and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Driving Experience: At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a clear driving record.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Warehouse Equipment: Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and floor lifts.
Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Independent Work: Ability to work independently and make important decisions when necessary.
Customer Focus: Balance customer satisfaction with organizational objectives to ensure positive delivery experiences.
Physical & Mental Capacity: Must have the physical and mental capability to handle the demands of the job.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.

Work Schedule

45+ hours per week, with flexible hours depending on store needs. You must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
