Candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports and providing strategic recommendations to guide decision-making processes within the organization. Responsibilities of Senior Financial Analyst
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Work closely with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to ensure financial goals are met.
- Support the forecasting process to provide accurate and timely financial projections
- Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic partner to various business units, understanding their goals and challenges.
- Lead financial reviews with business stakeholders, offering recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Provide financial guidance to support decision-making processes and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Financial Modeling:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes.
Requirements for Role of Senior Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- 5+ years experience in finance business partnering roles, preferably within the retail industry.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Familiarity with retail industry dynamics and financial best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems. Knowledge of ERP software is desirable.
