The selected candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls, providing information, and assisting guests with inquiries and requests in a hotel setting.
Responsibilities of Telephone Operator
- Handle incoming calls to answer questions, refer callers to other departments, or transfer them to specialists.
- Receive incoming calls and route them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Respond to incoming calls in an appropriate manner, based on call type and content.
- Help customers use the phone system by providing information about rates and services offered by the company.
- Provide customer service to customers through the telephone by taking incoming calls, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting problems and providing information.
Requirements of Telephone Operator
- Certifications or vocational training in customer service, hospitality, or telephone operations.
- 2+years similar previous work experiences.
