GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail is actively hiring for the job role of Primary FS1 Teacher to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail from April 2024. The selected candidate is responsible to ensuring that GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail offers, maintains and develops an inclusive approach and experience for all students. Specialist focus is teaching English Language Development across the Primary phase of GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail to improve proficiency and outcomes in students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities of Primary FS1 Teacher

• Observing and assessing children’s progress, documenting their development, and sharing information with parents..
• Collaborating with colleagues, specialists, and parents to ensure continuity of care and to support children’s individual needs.
• Developing and implementing effective behavior management strategies to promote positive learning behaviors.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices in early childhood education.

Job Requirements of Primary FS1 Teacher

• A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar.
• Have experience of teaching British curriculum.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Have experience teaching FS1.
• Experience of working within a high performing teaching team.
