Job Description

Join us as a Officer Pocurement at Amana, Bahrain. You will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless procurement of essential supplies that support the facility in commitment to outstanding healthcare. As part of our dedicated Procurement and Supply Chain teams, you’ll manage the procurement lifecycle, optimize purchasing processes, and foster strong supplier relationships to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Management: Lead end-to-end procurement, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchases.
  • Sourcing & Orders: Oversee sourcing, approve orders, and coordinate with inventory to maintain stock levels.
  • Cost Control & Negotiations: Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure value without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align purchasing with departmental needs (clinical, operations, finance).
  • Supplier Relations: Act as the main contact for suppliers, resolving quality, delivery, and invoice issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure procurement meets healthcare standards (e.g., DHA, DOH, ISO).
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and manage procurement risks.
  • Inventory Support: Oversee inventory and warehouse management.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MSc & CIPS certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in procurement in a hospital and pharma background

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills; Excel proficiency; team-oriented with excellent organization

Technology:

  • Oracle Fusion, SAP and advanced Excel skills essential.
