Responsibilities of Cook/Chef

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in food preparation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste.
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Requirements for Role of Cook/Chef 

  • Culinary school education is a plus.
  • 1-2 proven experience as a Cook / Chef or in a similar role.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate required.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
