Consumer Goods industry are currently seeking a reliable and customer oriented Supermarket Cashier to join their team in Dubai. As a job holder, you will be responsible for accurately handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Responsibilities of Cashier
- Ring up customer purchases accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely.
- Greet customers and assist with any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, ensuring accuracy in pricing.
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
Requirements of Cashier
- Diploma or degree in finance or accounting related field.
- Previous experience of 1-2 years as a cashier or retail experience preferred.
Skills and knowledge desired
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge.
