Job Description
NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Technical Documentation Specialist/Graphics Designer in Dubai.
Job Description of Technical Documentation Specialist/Graphics Designer
- Preparation of Operation and maintenance manuals for projects
- Centralization of the technical documentation delivered with vehicle (spare parts lists, drawings etc)
- Receiving all the catalogues for individual projects from stores and keep a record of them.
- Keep an independent schedule for releasing the catalogues before unit dispatch.
- Coordinate with Design Engineer/Electrical engineer in order to understand the project operation and special conditions to be integrated in manuals.
- Be part of the testing of products in order to master the unit operation.
- Release a draft of operation manual before testing of the vehicle to QC in order to verify the accuracy and completeness of the information given in manual
- Centralizing all the catalogues along with the Manuals and pass to QC department at end of the project.
- Photoshoots of individual vehicles and vehicle parts for using in elaboration of the manuals.
- Design of decals for control panels and assistance in printing them in production.
- Release the completed Manuals (hard copies , CD’s) to the QC Department, Graphic design of manuals and decals using Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Technical writing of operations procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mech)
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in technical writing, communication, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation management.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software for technical writing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in technical content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into user-friendly content.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Relevant experience in Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office
