Responsibilities of Rider Equipment & Inventory Specialist
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of rider equipment and inventory management.
- Procure rider equipment with an emphasis on high quality and timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain efficient tracking and documentation systems for comprehensive inventory management.
- Coordinate the streamlined equipment distribution to riders, optimizing logistical processes for effectiveness.
- Conduct creative surveys to guarantee the quality and functionality of all rider equipment.
- Keep riders well being at heart.
- Anticipate inventory needs based on rider growth and demand, contributing valuable insights for strategic planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies governing inventory management.
- Generate & analyze detailed reports on equipment utilization, losses, and replacements.
- Be a key contributor in managing the P&L for Talabat inventory regionally.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Provide timely and effective training and support to the local team, promptly addressing equipment-related issues.
- Monitor and manage costs associated with equipment procurement, distribution and replacements.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements to optimize overall effectiveness.
- Develop emergency contingency plans, ensuring a rapid and effective response in case of equipment shortages or other unforeseen events.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for the role of Rider Equipment & Inventory Specialist are as under:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 3-4 years experience in a Logistics support role is preferred.
