Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and highly skilled Senior Interior Designer who is passionate about luxury interior design, materials, and finishes, and who thrives on leading projects from inception to completion. What You’ll Do As Senior Interior Designer
- Concept Design & Development
- Lead the design vision for our high-end retail, F&B, and commercial spaces, ensuring every project aligns with our brand’s identity.
- Develop and communicate compelling concept designs through sketches, mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations for internal reviews and client approvals.
- Research and incorporate cutting-edge design trends, materials, and finishes to keep our spaces innovative, engaging, and relevant.
- Provide creative direction and ensure that all designs reflect a seamless integration of function, aesthetics, and brand storytelling.
- Project Management & Execution
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring flawless project management and consistent communication.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and resolve any design-related issues to ensure the design vision is realized.
- Review and approve materials, mock-ups, and shop drawings to guarantee the highest level of craftsmanship and design integrity.
- Technical Expertise & Design Leadership
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other design tools.
- Source premium materials, finishes, and FF&E that align with the luxury market, ensuring that each selection enhances the brand’s positioning.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices, while keeping design quality at the forefront.
- Keep meticulous documentation of design processes, approvals, and revisions to maintain a comprehensive record of every project.
- Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with branding, marketing, and operations teams to create memorable and cohesive brand experiences.
- Present design concepts and project updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment that nurtures talent and development.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand, ensuring that every design detail contributes to a unified and exceptional brand experience.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in luxury interior design, ideally in retail, F&B, or high-end commercial projects.
- A portfolio showcasing luxury design projects with exceptional attention to detail, materiality, and spatial composition.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Corona/V-Ray, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining precision and quality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to bring your design concepts to life.
- An in-depth knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and FF&E sourcing, with a keen eye for sourcing the best materials for each project.
- The ability to problem-solve and adapt to challenges while staying focused on the design outcome.
