Job Description

Chalhoub Group has been a partner and creator of luxury experiences in the Middle East. The Group, in its endeavour to excel as a hybrid retailer, has reinforced its distribution and marketing services with a portfolio of eight owned brands and over 300 international brands in the luxury, beauty, fashion, and art de vivre categories. Currently they are looking to hire a candidate for the job role of Finance Trainee in Unit GS, 075, Financial Center Rd, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE. Finance trainee is responsible for supporting the Beauty Innovation division with accurate and timely commercial financial analysis, including provision of monthly management accounts for support functions within the Group.

Responsibilities of Finance Trainee

  • Customer Accounts Reconciliation: Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer accounts by identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
  • Sales Order Review: Verify and analyze sales orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address any variations or observations, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Month-End Activities: Contribute to month-end financial processes and project-based activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • 1 years in finance, accounting, or banking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
