Job Description

NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Commissioning Engineer Fire Fighting Systems in Dubai.

Job Description of Commissioning Engineer

  • Testing and commissioning of Fire pumps, Sprinkler, Hose reel, landing valves and Fire fighting related mechanical system
  • Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions in fire fighting systems.
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of fire fighting systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Preparing and submitting detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in fire fighting technology and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commissioning fire fighting systems.
  • Familiarity with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
  • Experience working in the construction or engineering industry, preferably with a focus on fire protection systems.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
