Responsibilities of Store Keeper
- Maintain inventory levels and keep track of stock movements.
- Receive, inspect, and store items in the warehouse.
- Prepare orders and ensure accurate shipment of products.
- Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of stock.
- Rotate stock to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Generate and maintain accurate records of stock transactions using inventory management software.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and management.
- Administer payroll and payroll deductions.
Requirements of Store Keeper
- Must be physically fit and have attractive personality.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Storekeeper or similar role.
Skills and knowledge Desired
- Proficient in inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
