Job Description
The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in managing end-to-end complex procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier management, and compliance with procurement policies. The role requires expertise in CAPEX and Operational Supplies procurement, sourcing, and contract negotiations, with a strategic focus on optimizing procurement operations and supporting business expansion. The responsibilities may focus on various categories depending on operational and strategic needs.
What Did We Order
- Manage and coordinate all Procurement-related requirements, including CAPEX, through the defi ned procurement process.
- Oversee procurement activities, which may include fi t-out projects, pest control contracts, maintenance services, transportation arrangements, and operational supplies, among other business needs as they evolve.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and effi ciency.
- Conduct vendor negotiations and manage both short-term and long-term agreements, ensuring favorable pricing, service levels, and contractual compliance.
- Support lease agreement negotiations and renewals to optimize commercial terms and cost effi ciency.
- Manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, budget constraints, and compliance standards.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, dashboards, and savings analyses to support decision-making.
- Identify and onboard new vendors to strengthen the vendor database and support operational and strategic growth.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on pricing trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality products and services that meet company standards.
- Monitor vendor performance, addressing any quality, delivery, or contract compliance issues proactively.
- Respond to all procurement and supply inquiries regularly across various communication channels, including in person.
- Process purchase orders through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and effi ciency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including procurement process enhancements and technology upgrades.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and policy.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- 3-5 years’ Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, preferably in CAPEX procurement.
- Experience in project-based procurement, asset acquisition, and lease agreement is the plus.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic decision-making skills in complex procurement environments.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across teams at all levels
- Ability to take on scope-specific assignments based on team needs.
