Job Description
DAMAC Group is currently hiring skilled and motivated candidate for the job role of Autocad Draughtsman for Technical Design in Dubai.
Job role functions:
- Work with the Mechanical Data Center Design Team to implement high quality Mechanical Data Center Design solutions detailing procedures. Methodologies, standards and guidelines for ensuring effective estimation, design and implementation.
- Undertake the preparation of Mechanical Data Center Design and documentation in accordance. With DAMAC Design Standards and deliver in accordance with the approved design programme.
- Use standardized Data Center Design and procedures to ensure consistent and high quality DAMAC work experience to consultants, contractors and clients across all projects.
- Ensure appropriate usage and application of the project management system with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant (technical/non-technical) information across the organization on a real time basis for maximum effectiveness.
- Ensure design of Mechanical Data Center Design, plans, layouts are in alignment with project specifications and project cost estimates on allocated projects.
- Work with Mechanical Data Center Design Team to resolve Mechanical. And related engineering issues for allocated projects.
- Collaborate with other Data Center and engineering disciplines to enhance DAMAC’s overall project delivery.
- Establish and develop professional relationships with peer professionals in the industry. To keep abreast with latest innovations in the Data Center Design – Mechanical solutions.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, methodologies, tools and best practices in project cost management.
- Adopt and adapt good practices from the industry into DAMAC to ensure continuous rejuvenation and upgrades to DAMAC’s Data Center functions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in drafting technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP Mechanical design, preferably with a focus on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and BIM. Knowledge of building systems and construction methods like RIBA & BIM standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
