Responsibilities of Food & Beverage Supervisor

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned food & beverage outlet(s), ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate team members, delegating tasks, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the outlet, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Control inventory levels, managing stock orders, and minimizing wastage.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to optimize food & beverage expenditure.
  • Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures, preparing financial reports.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular outlet inspections and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new food & beverage initiatives.
  • Liaise with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu accuracy and quality.
  • Attend daily briefings and meetings, actively participating in team discussions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, upholding brand standards.
  • Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team.
  • Supervise and delegate duties; Ensure brand standards are maintained.
  • Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal.

Requirements of Food & Beverage Supervisor

The requirements of Food & Beverage Supervisor are as under:

  • High School diploma or equivalent or certification/diploma in hospitality.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
