Job Description

Apparel Group presently has a job opening for qualified and experienced candidate for job position of an Assistant Designer in Dubai, UAE. This job has recently been posted by company’s career page and is now open for all aspiring candidates.

Responsibilities of Assistant Designer

  • Creating or visualizing an idea and producing a design using computer-aided design (CAD).
  • To support the design team in conceptualizing and creating visual elements, contributing to the development of creative projects, and assisting in the design process to meet artistic and client objectives.
  • Well versed in latest designing software (Illustrator, Photoshop etc.).
  • Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
  • Planning and developing ranges.
  • Working with buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief.
  • Liaising closely with buying and planning teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
  • Understanding design from a technical perspective.
  • Readiness to multitask and should have a proactive approach.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility criteria of an Assistant Designer at Apparel Group is as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 3-5 years of previous proven experience.
