Job Description
Information Technology Administrator in (Automotive Applications – Autoline) at Alfahim provide administrative and maintenance support to the Automotive Dealer Management System – Autoline. Ensure that the application is running smoothly supporting business units overall achievement of results. Manage all application modules (After Sales, Vehicle Sales, Stock Management, Marketing, CRM, Finance and Business Intelligence/Reporting) operating across Automotive Division of the Group.
Accountabilities for Information Technology Administrator
- Application Administration & Development: Effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, fix bugs and malfunctions independently or in coordination with the vendor appropriately to prevent system down.
- Prepares necessary technical documentation describing resolution processes for new problems. To ensure that knowledge base remains updated for future references.
- Process Enhancement: Support the senior specialist to improve operational efficiency, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes. Work cooperatively or jointly to provide quality seamless customer service to all stakeholders. Conduct research on applications versions latest releases, services, standards and best practices to appropriately recommend application to the senior specialist.
- End User Training: In coordination with the senior specialist conduct systems trainings for new users, refresher for existing and other functional training for introducing new application or application enhancement to ensure complete understanding for appropriate utilization of the application by the user. Prepare process flow diagrams and drafts user manuals to ensure that clear guidelines are available to users.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationship with vendors, technical team and consultants to ensure that appropriate timely support is extended for fixing malfunction and enhancement requirements. Work closely with external consultants for system set up and configuration at server level to ensure smooth system upgrade.
- Project Management: Support the Senior Administrator on applications development and enhancement related projects. For the purpose of completing projects in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Ensure objectives are met in time and standard quality results are delivered.
Job Specific Information
- Automotive application has Autoline (kerridge) application that runs across the Automotive Division of the Group accessed by approximately 600+ users across all levels from GMs to Technicians. This Automotive Dealer Management System includes major modules as After Sales, Vehicle Sales, Stock Management, Marketing, CRM, Finance and advanced analysis (Business Intelligence/Reporting).
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering / science.
- Experience
- 4+ years of minimum experience in Information Technology; out of which 4 years of experience in Dealer Management System – Autoline (Kerridge) administration and/or support.
- Experience in Autoline Manufacturer Systems like X-Entry, MIAS, VDH, VES knowledge.
- Document Management like Laser net and preferable Planet press.
