Responsibilities of Assistant Shipping Manager
- Responsible to manage a team executing international freight.
- Aware of the importation and exportation rules, freight cost structures.
- Extensive interactions with LSPs to work out logistics solutions that bring about efficiency, cost savings.
- Guide and mentor the team, set measurable KPIs for service providers and team.
- Analyze performance, costs, actively drive cost savings/ efficiency improvement projects.
Requirements for Role of Assistant Shipping Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain roles.
