Job Description
DoubleTree By Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel & Residences is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Accommodation Attendant. The job holder is responsible to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of team member apartments. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hygienic living environment for our team members. In addition to housekeeping duties, you will also oversee team member onboarding and offboarding processes, manage pest control measures, and handle various administrative tasks related to accommodations.
Responsibilities of Accommodation Attendant
- Clean accommodation rooms & apartments after offboarding and as required.
- Address specific maintenance & cleanliness issues promptly to maintain high standards.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring that their apartments are ready for occupancy.
- Perform regular and thorough inspections of team member apartments according to established cleanliness standards & policies.
- Conduct apartment inspections during team member offboarding, collecting keys, and ensuring a smooth transition for departing team members.
- Report to HRD to coordinate accommodation availability for new hires and departing team members.
- Implement and manage pest control measures to prevent and address pest issues in team member apartments.
- Coordinate with external pest control services to conduct regular inspections and treatments, ensuring a pest-free living environment.
- Educate team members on best practices for preventing and reporting pest issues.
- Maintain accurate records of apartment assignments, cleaning schedules, and occupancy status.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to coordinate accommodation needs for team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accommodation policies and procedures.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
Requirements of Accommodation Attendant
The requirements of Accommodation Attendant are as under:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in apartment cleaning, housekeeping, or a related field.
- Hotel experience.
- Experience in a similar position.
