The Corporate Investment Analyst at Transguard Group will be responsible to support the Corporate Investment team in the provision of relevant support services. These would include assistance in long term financial planning, financial modelling, commercial modelling, financial business case support, monitoring and reporting of financial performance through data gathering/extraction, data analysis, designing and preparation of relevant reports.
Duties of Corporate Investment Analyst
- Assist in the development and maintenance of long-term financial model of Dubai Airports and/or Airport sector.
- The model will inform the annual budgeting cycle and contribute towards the formulation of Dubai Airport’s corporate strategy for
the business as well as form the basis of discussion with external parties/CEO engagements. - Assist in the development of annual strategic financial/capital plan from the long-term model.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis using historic/trend/scenario-building, regression, monte-carlo simulations, back-testing to
enable critical financial performance appraisals. - Assist the team in forecasting and budgeting exercise by developing detailed financial models in collaboration with business units
and ensure alignment to long-term financial plan for DA. - Assist in developing and maintaining Dubai’s aviation sector performance model and undertake benchmarking exercise to analyze and compare the performance and offerings of DA to other regional and international peer airports.
- Assist in the evaluation of projects/investments for financial appraisal/feasibility by estimating NPV, IRR, ROI, multi-scenario
approach etc. - Assist in developing and maintenance of carbon emission and carbon pricing model for Dubai Airport enabling prediction of carbon trajectory, cost-benefit analysis, and carbon equivalent benefit.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of a Corporate Investment Analyst are as under:
- Specialization in Corporate Finance.
- A professional certification in Finance (e.g. CFA, ACCA or MBA in Finance) is preferred.
- Financial Modelling certification (e.g. FMVA) will be advantageous.
- 4-5 years of experience in similar role.
Skills Desired
- Financial Modelling, Scenario-building etc.
- Financial Forecasting.
- Valuations (DCF, multiples etc.) and Due Diligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
