Job Description
DP World exists to make the world’s trade flow better, changing what’s possible for the customers and communities they serve globally. Currently they are looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Manager Business Intelligence at Dubai. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Manager Business Intelligence
- Identify market trends in logistics: Comprehensive review & analysis of cargo movement with a 360-degree view of commodities, countries, and customer trading patterns
- Map the various logistical offerings within UAE and the wider GCC region, which includes all services, capabilities and solutions that are being delivered from port gate to clients and customers
- Conduct regular product & services benchmarking studies to compare with their competitors and suggest areas for improvement
- Create a go to market plan by identifying opportunities basis their logistical capabilities and drive expansion in existing and targeted geographies, and hereby creating end-to-end integrated supply chain solutions from factory floor to customer door
- Assist with identifying ocean freight trends basis vessel utilization levels for better management by their commercial teams.
- Performance management of the various asset classes under both contract logistics and freight logistics through structured reporting and dashboards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key logistics metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Support the implementation of process improvements by providing data-driven insights.
- Monitor the impact of changes and refine strategies as needed.
- Data Management:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of logistics data.
- Maintain and update databases related to logistics operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Formulating business presentations, contribute towards development of content for logistics related marketing collateral.
- Assist with the volume budget for logistics businesses and periodic reforecasts as required.
Requirements for Role of Manager Business Intelligence
- Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or business intelligence.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. Understanding of global logistics and trade regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
