Job Description
Seddiqi Holding is seeking a Buyer for Mizzen who will play a pivotal role in brand management, team collaboration, customer engagement, and coordination with support services. The role involves curating and procuring inventory for retail stores, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms across diverse markets, ensuring alignment with market trends and timely deliveries. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-13000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Buyer
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate and contribute towards a comprehensive brand buying strategy.
- Contribute to strategic projects such as expansion plans and new store openings, providing valuable insights to ensure successful launches.
- Take ownership of Mizzen inventory and margin KPIs, consistently driving performance through strategic daily operations and targeted initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular competition analysis and research to identify opportunities and gaps in the market for new brands for the Mizzen portfolio.
- Inventory Management:
- Collaborate in the strategic development and alignment of purchase budgets, ensuring they reflect organizational goals, market trends, and financial objectives.
- Lead the proposal and presentation of seasonal assortment selections, aligning them with budget and sales trends and consolidating them to ensure consistency with the targeted product mix
- Continuously track performance and expenditures against budgets, and develop solutions for any discrepancies from the plan.
- Prepare detailed end of season & year detailed review / lessons learnt by brand.
- Maintain full and accurate Master Data for product portfolio.
- Be a product expert to deliver trainings internally.
- Conduct a monthly review of pricing and price positioning compared to the brand’s home country, both online and in-store, and recommend any necessary adjustments.
- Monthly review of wholesalers / amenity accounts RRP to ensure alignment with Mizzen.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor offerings, market trends and consumer preferences in conjunction with Retail teams.
Brand Management & Sales Management
- Build and maintain positive and effective relations with the brand and brand representatives.
- Work closely with the sales staff to provide comprehensive training and updates on new product launches, key features, and selling points, enabling them to drive customer engagement effectively.
- Partner with sales teams to identify and address challenges related to product assortment, inventory, and customer feedback, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
- Provide guidelines on store-level execution of visual merchandising, and product placement.
- Align product assortment with market demand and gather feedback on product performance from the sales team.
- Provide store teams with general support on all product and brand related requests.
- Foster ongoing collaboration with omnichannel teams to optimize sales opportunities and ensure seamless customer experience across all platforms.
- Expand the distribution of Mizzen brands strategically to align with key performance indicators, driving market penetration and achieving targeted business outcomes.
- Maintain a very close relationship with B2B customers to ensure healthy and supportive collaboration.
- Management of corporate orders including approval of enquiries & discount structure
- Negotiation, set up and maintenance of B2B, Corporate, Wholesale and Amenity accounting business including Legal contracts
- Meet with wholesale customers to discuss wholesale / amenity performance vs budget & strategies to grow the business
- Marketing:
- Plan effectively and ensure products availability to align and support with planned marketing initiatives, driving engagement and maximizing campaign impact.
- Representing Mizzen at key brand events, fostering relationships with brand representatives and embodying brand values to strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute targeted strategies aimed at boosting sales performance in underperforming categories and styles, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements for Role of Buyer
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years job related experience.
- Experience in assortment selection, wholesale, and B2B.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
