Duties Of Process Engineer Low Carbon Solutions
- Work under the direction of the Low Carbon Solution team.
- Support global tendering as technical specialization lead for low carbon solutions technologies.
- Preform early study/concept work on CCS & Hydrogen applications.
- Support the standardization & development of the core product portfolio.
- Perform simulations, studies and develop heat & mass balances.
- Develop PFDs and P&IDs for low carbon solution technologies.
- Size process equipment (pressure vessels, 2-Phase Separators, heat exchangers, compressors, filters, pumps, etc.)
- Participate and contribute to FEED studies.
- Support and build process expertise to bring forward commercial opportunities to market.
Requirements For Process Engineer Low Carbon Solutions
The eligibility requirements for the role of Process Engineer Low Carbon Solutions are as under:
- Education: MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering, or similar (Essential) or BSc.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in directly relevant areas.
- More than 3 years experience in the process engineering industry.
- Process engineering experience – P&ID design, HAZOP, process simulation, plant and facilities operations and equipment design.
- Experience with gas processing technologies is an advantage in particular with Amine system, PSA, TEG and Solid Desiccant dehydration systems.
- Experience with CCUS & Hydrogen technologies is an advantage.
- Experience in the following industry sectors (Desirable one or more):
- Industrial Scale Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, vessels, towers, skids, packages, heat exchangers).
- Utilities (Power, Water, Waste).
- Chemicals.
- Pulp and Paper.
- Concrete.
- Oil and Gas.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Detailed knowledge of process engineering documents and drawings (PFD/P&IDs, etc.)
- Knowledge of process simulation (Aspen, Hysys, Protreat, Prosim, Unisim, etc.)
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office.)
