NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified candidate for position of a Project Engineer Glazing in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, AE. Responsibilities of Project Engineer Glazing
- Coordinate and oversee glazing installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with design teams to provide technical input on glazing systems and materials to achieve aesthetic and functional goals.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the feasibility of glazing installations, identifying potential challenges and solutions.
- Manage procurement processes for glazing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and progress reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations during all phases of glazing projects.
- Lead project meetings to communicate progress, address concerns, and align team efforts towards project objectives.
- Utilize project management software to track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing inquiries and concerns while fostering strong professional relationships.
Requirements for Role of Project Engineer Glazing
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong focus on glazing systems.
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in glazing engineering or project management within the construction industry.
- Experience working with AutoCAD and other design software to develop and interpret technical drawings for glazing installations.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple glazing projects from conception to completion, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus, especially for international project coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.
