An opportunity has arisen for a Reservation Team Leader to join the Front Office Department in Zabeel House by Jumeirah™, The Greens. The main purpose of the role is to prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Company’s standards.
Responsibilities of Team Leader
- Supervise and ensure the smooth and efficient daily reservation operations, ensuring everyone contacting the Central Reservations office receives the optimum level of services and care at all times.
- Liaise with the Front Office Manager for reservation requests received from VIP guests, embassies, consular or diplomatic delegations etc..
- Order to enable the adjustment of services according to requirements and provide ultimate quest experience.
- Carry out regular spot checks to ensure that the reservation and telecom team adhere to the standards outlined in the property SOPs.
- Reviews all SOPs in order to ensure that is up-to-date with the latest processes and procedure of the Group.
- Monitor the incoming letters, and email received by the Central Reservation Office.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures.
- Controls within a defined area of activity so that company provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
- Deal with guests’ enquiries & complaints professionally, record any relevant details and notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring group bookings are done based on the blocking and correct rooming list shared on timely manner.
- Monitor and inspect the overflow incoming calls to guarantee that all calls are answered promptly and converted according to company telephone standards.
Requirements of Team Leader
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Must have at least 2 years of hotel operation experience.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Understanding and management of group sales process and group sales demands.
- Ability to develop and implement effective plans to maximize market rooms revenue.
- Very good command of speaking, reading, and writing English language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong product knowledge of the property.
- Computer literacy and very good MS Office skills.
