Job Description

Audit at Sharjah Coop will review and evaluate the internal organizational controls, processes, policies and mechanisms to ensure that they are adequate, effective and in compliance with the company policies and procedures. Execute the internal audit plan to achieve department objectives through planned internal audit reviews and ad-hoc assignments. This is a Senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 15000-30000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in performing a risk assessment during the planning stage of the assigned project portfolio and participate in the development of the overall risk-based annual audits plan.
  • Contribute to the development of Internal controls questionnaires, audit programs and detailed audit work papers incorporating test schedules, observations, audit conclusions and ensuring that the audits objectives are satisfactorily achieved.
  • Review policies and procedures and perform corporate governance reviews for the assigned businesses.
  • Manage and deliver audits projects in accordance with the annual plan and perform assigned audits fieldwork.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Senior Management.
  • Explore alternative courses of action for correcting control weaknesses, resolving operating problems or improving performance.
  • Prepare entrance, exit and close-out meetings with Heads of Department.
  • Ensure timely issuance of the draft and final reports for the assigned projects.
  • Plan and execute follow-up reviews to ensure corrective actions have implemented in a timely manner.

Requirements for Role of Audit

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10+ years of work experience with Internal Audits, Auditing & Financial Risk Management.
