Job Description

NMC Healthcare presently has a job opening for suitably qualified candidate for position of a Manager Environmental Health and Safety at NMC – Corporate, Alain Tower, Abu Dhabi, AE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for EHS programs and initiatives. Ensure alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to advance sustainability initiatives within the organization.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of emergency response and disaster preparedness plans.
  • Initiate and manage business continuity management systems to mitigate risks and ensure organizational resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international legal and regulatory requirements. Develop strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the safety of employees.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the EHS and sustainability teams to achieve organizational objectives and maintain high standards of performance.

Requirements for Role of Manager Environmental Health and Safety

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Registered with Quorate program as OSH Practitioner with Grade A and ISO certification 14001, 45001, and 22301 as lead Auditor.
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
