Responsibilities of Regional In-store Logistics Manager

• Contribute to securing that the IKEA store teams and processes are functioning as per the prerequisites. Defined in the Store operating procedures and in line with the IKEA 7 steps of Customer Fulfilment Strategies. There by securing efficient in and out bound. In the stores logistics operations to optimize range and space for customer fulfilment. Matrix to Store ISL managers.
• Follow up and Improve on the store’s Logistics performance with scheduled monthly matrix meeting with the store’s ISL managers to analyse the stores KPI performance & ensure they are delivered as per the agreed clear & qualified goals for each store.
• Establish the processes for each store that there are efficient customer fulfillment routines that emphases on securing a safe working environment for the Good Flow team by working with the SOP for Goods Handling checklist, SEC CHECK document & conducting periodic audit on the grey racking in the Self-serve & Full serve area in the store.
• Support and review with the Expansion/Logistics strategy by organizing that the Instore logistic prerequisites are delivered in a timely manner as per the expansion project time plan for new store openings.
• Contribute with the Store Establishment process for Retail Logistics for the new store build-up. And ensure they will meet as per the checklist for each of the establishment process during the project phase. Along with securing the Commitments & Mandatories are follow as per IKEA guidelines.
• Monitor, support and communicate with the new store’s ISL teams with training on store operating procedures in order to secure competency within the in-store logistics department.

Requirements for Role of Regional In-store Logistics Manager

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in the running of an IKEA Concept Store in the capacity of In-store Logistics Manager.
• Project Management experience from build-up of previous IKEA projects an advantage.
