Job Description

Seddiqi Holding is looking for a Social Engagement Specialist at Mizzen International, who will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a dynamic and interactive presence both with their communities and across their social media platforms. This role is essential for building a strong, engaged community of running enthusiasts, fostering brand loyalty, and enhancing their online reputation. Candidate will create and execute strategies to engage digitally and physically with their audience, respond to their needs and interests, and promote a positive brand image. By leveraging social media trends, analytics, and innovative content, this role will help drive their mission to inspire runners in GGC and Jordan and elevate their experience with On. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Social Engagement Specialist

  • Learn and Adapt On’s Tone of Voice:
  • Master On’s unique tone of voice: Study the brand’s communication style and guidelines to ensure all interactions are consistent.
  • Apply consistently: Use this tone in all social media interactions, comments, and replies to maintain brand consistency and relatability.
  • Community Understanding:
  • Research audience demographics and psychographics: Conduct regular studies to understand the interests, behaviors, and preferences of the communities they serve.
  • Monitor community feedback: Regularly review comments, messages, and social media mentions to stay updated on community sentiment.
  • Develop tailored engagement strategies: Create specific approaches for different community segments to foster joy, inspiration, and advocacy.
  • Proactive Engagement:
  • Identify engagement opportunities: Regularly scan social media for trends, challenges, and conversations that On Running can join to enhance brand presence.
  • Implement engagement initiatives: Launch initiatives that delight the audience and reinforce brand values.
  • Translate insights: Share valuable insights gained from social media interactions with other teams to enhance product development, marketing strategies, and customer service.
  • Campaign Strategy Support:
  • Collaborate on campaign planning: Work with local marketing and content teams to integrate social media engagement strategies into broader campaign goals.
  • Provide strategic input: Use community insights to inform campaign development and ensure they resonate with target audiences.
  • Crisis Management:
  • Develop crisis management protocols: Create strategies to address potential social media crises promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor for potential issues: Keep a vigilant eye on social media channels for signs of brewing crises.
  • Coordinate responses: Work with the PR team to draft and disseminate appropriate responses during crises.

  • Support campaign execution: Track user-generated content and social media reactions during campaigns.
  • Engage with campaign content: Respond to and amplify user engagement with campaign-related posts.
  • Provide feedback: Share insights and feedback from social media interactions with the campaign team to refine future efforts.

Insight Translation:

  • Compile insights: Gather valuable insights from social media interactions and community feedback.
  • Share with teams: Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for product development, customer service, and marketing strategies.
  • Present findings: Regularly present insights and recommendations to relevant teams through reports and presentations.
  • Content Creation Collaboration:
  • Provide feedback: Offer insights on content performance and suggest improvements to optimize engagement.
  • Coordinate content calendar: Help manage the social media content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.
  • Trend Analysis:
  • Stay updated on trends: Continuously monitor the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Implement new techniques: Experiment with new engagement techniques and content formats to keep the brand’s social media presence fresh and innovative.
  • Community Events and Activations:
  • Coordinate event promotion: Plan and promote community events and brand activations physically and on social media.
  • Engage during events: Provide real-time updates on social media and engage with the community during live events to maximize participation and visibility.
  • Post-event follow-up: Engage with post-event content and feedback to maintain momentum and community interest.
  • Influencer and Ambassador Engagement:
  • Support influencer relationships: Engage with influencer and brand ambassador content to strengthen relationships.
  • Facilitate collaborations: Work with influencers and ambassadors on social media collaborations that enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor partnerships: Track and report on the effectiveness of influencer partnerships, providing insights for future collaborations.

Requirements for Role of Social Engagement Specialist

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years job related experience.
  • Have relevant experience at an agency, brand, publisher, platform or similar.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Have a strong understanding on social trends and how brands behave on the internet.
  • Have passion for connection, running or sport more broadly.
