Responsibilities of Education Associate

• Proactively interacts to all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Delivers the education facts on the assigned attraction/exhibit.
• Maintains theme park’s knowledge to provide updated information to the guests.
• Handles guests concerns and queries, provide appropriate resolution, and available and achievable service recovery as needed.
• Prepares educational materials and maintains its professional appearance.
• Ensures all departmental checklists are consistently completed and informs line manager for any tasks that requires action.
• Fosters a culture of human and animal safety by following all safety policies and practices in accordance with HSE policy and department’s SOPs.
• Promotes products, services and activities available to the guests.
• Completes all required trainings and maintains professional development and competencies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the workplace for designated areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Role of Education Associate

• High School Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Experience in zoological and/or theme park setting is a plus.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Excellent skills in customer/guest interaction.
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of educational principles and instructional design models.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.
