Serco is presently looking to hire dedicated and proficient candidates for the role of a FRS Instructor. This role will work at their Dubai support office. The successful candidate will be responsible to enable delegates to learn fire fighting and fire fighter leadership techniques through presentations, demonstration and instruction. The post holder will assess the performance of candidates using a range of methods. Included in this role is a requirement to take responsibility for the management of students and design, development, evaluation and improvement of course materials in accordance with client requests and regulatory standards. Responsibilities of A FRS Instructor
- Oversee and manage the instructors in the delivery of FRS training.
- Deliver FRS training programmes in accordance with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
- Support the delivery of aviation training programmes as required.
- Assess students’ performance against recognised standards using a range of methods in accordance with QMS procedures.
- Develop course content in line with regulatory standards and best practise.
- Take responsibility for personal development in order to broaden the type and range of courses that can be delivered.
- Provide students/sponsors with follow up reports and action plans in the agreed format.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with recognised procedures.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of a FRS Instructor are as under:
- Training qualification.
- 1-2 years of training experience.
- Fire and rescue service experience (ideally to Station Manager rank).
- Able to gain approval from IFTC to deliver the accredited training.
- MS Office (Word and PowerPoint).
- Arabic speaker is prefered.
