Responsibilities of Maintenance Supervisor

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and civil systems, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify issues and coordinate timely repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
• Manage a team of technicians and crafts persons, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to best practices.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring they meet project specifications and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment performance to support budget planning and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on upcoming projects, providing insights into maintenance implications and resource needs.
• Monitor compliance with local regulations and company policies, ensuring all maintenance activities are execute within legal and environmental guidelines.

Requirements for Role of Maintenance Supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, ensuring a solid technical foundation.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role within the MEP or civil sectors, showcasing a track record of effective leadership.
• Experience in managing maintenance operations in commercial or industrial facilities, demonstrating an understanding of complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing MEP systems, showcasing technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities.
