Pure Health is currently seeking an Assistant Manager – Sterilization Technical to join their dynamic team in Abu Dhabi Emirate. Responsibilities of Assistant Manager Sterilization
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the timely resolution of equipment issues.
- Manage the inventory of sterile supplies and instruments, ensuring proper documentation, labelling, and storage.
- Implement efficient systems for tracking and reordering supplies as needed.
- Lead and manage a CSSD team, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and adherence to established protocols.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and guidelines related to sterile processing and ensure that the CSSD operates in full compliance. Prepare for and participate in inspections from relevant regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sterilization equipment and staff training. Prepare reports as required by regulatory agencies and internal policies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency improvements within the CSSD. Implement initiatives to enhance overall departmental performance.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies or equipment failures to ensure uninterrupted sterile processing services.
Education & Experience
Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Assistant Manager – Sterilization Technical:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as healthcare management, biomedical science, or sterile processing.
- Certification in sterile processing is highly desirable.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in sterile processing, with progressive responsibilities and leadership roles.
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of sterilization methods, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and lead a team.
- PKnowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards related to sterile processing.
