Job Description
NMC Healthcare looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Store Assistant in Pharmacy Central Stores, Al Ain, AE. Candidate will be responsible for good housekeeping, picking, checking, packing Unit’s orders in a manner that meets company standards for safety of material handling process with 100% productivity in the entire process of warehouse & distribution. Employees in this job required to support by assisting the day-to-day activities in the Pharmacy Central Stores  and deliver the pharmacy products to the respective pharmacies/hospitals within the stipulated time. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 3000-5000 AED/month. Desirous candidates fulfilling under mentioned criteria are encouraged to submit their applications.
Responsibilities of Store Assistant
- Effective housekeeping of warehouse.
- Should keep picking passage area neat and tidy.
- Replenishing the items in bin on a regular basis.
- Efficiently 100% pick customer orders. Checking, Packing, Loading and Unloading stock with proper care & handling as per pick slips / invoice and slots.
- Ensure that the correct number and type of product/Qty/Batch No./Expiry date is Picked, checked, packed and going to be shipped.
- Any deviation during picking or checking time; like item not available at the location / Batch issue / Expiry date issue, inform same to superior for corrective action.
- Mainly picking the stocks from the bin in proper manner and also maintain the bin stock in proper position.
- Picked trolley should kept in designated area for the checking purpose.
- Efficiently check pick slips with the guidelines provided by management.
- Build Carton with proper arranged medicines in order to comply safety manner and position them to Delivery docks.
- If any near expiry which picked by oversight must be corrected at checker end and rectify the same from the location.
- Maintain the checking desk area neat and tidy.
- All the empty cartoons must opened and kept in designated area for repacking.
- Keep records of completed orders with sign-off on documents.
- Effective Communication, Coordination and Responding appropriately with Team members, Superiors about Unit’s inquiries and complaints Etc..
- Ready for accept any type of job given by superior at given time and condition.
- Very Important that every-one is accountability for inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality as per Health care Standards.
Requirements for Role of Store Assistant
- Should Hold required valid driving license (Manual License) with proven experience as a driver.
- Minimum 1 years driving experience license in UAE with a clear driving record.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Work well independently.
- Ability to lift heavy package and luggage.
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts whenever duties assigned.
