AC Technician Automotive NAFFCO Dubai

NAFFCO is actively seeking a Male experienced and qualified individual to take on the job role of Junior Environmental Officer in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Entry level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 2000-2500 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of AC Technician

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive air conditioning systems, ensuring vehicles maintain optimal performance and comfort.
• Perform routine maintenance on AC systems, including recharging refrigerants and replacing filters to prevent system failure.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for leak detection and system pressure testing to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately assess and troubleshoot AC components.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive AC technologies and refrigerants to provide informed service and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations for refrigerant handling.
• Document all repairs and services performed, providing detailed reports to both customers and management.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure comprehensive vehicle service and customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on proper AC system maintenance to promote longevity and performance of their vehicles.
• Assist in training junior technicians, sharing knowledge of best practices and advanced diagnostic techniques.

Requirements for Role of AC Technician

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive HVAC systems, with a focus on diagnostics and repair.
• Certification from a recognized automotive service organization, such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence), specializing in HVAC

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficient knowledge of refrigerant handling procedures and relevant environmental laws, such as EPA regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure and troubleshoot effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to customers and collaborate with team members.
• Detail-oriented and organized, capable of keeping accurate service records and managing time efficiently.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools, lift heavy components, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software to enhance efficiency in troubleshooting.
• Bilingual abilities in English and another language (e.g., Spanish) are a plus for better customer interaction.
