Ecommerce Technical Consultant at Jumbo Group will be designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure web applications specially for EComm (preferable in Magento) business. It involves direct interaction with web developers, project managers, Integration Architect and technical Partners to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and overseeing the overall architecture of web applications. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Ecommerce Technical Consultant

• Architecture Design:
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and high-performing web application architectures for e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure that web applications meet security standards and best practices.
• Full-Stack Development:
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to implement features using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, and Magento.
• Oversee the development of database designs and management systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability (SQL, Magento)
• Security Best Practices:
• Establish and enforce web application security standards and protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• DevOps Integration:
• Implement and manage DevOps practices, including containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline deployment processes and enhance application performance.

Collaboration with Integration Architects:

• Work closely with Integration Architects to prepare application architecture that aligns with integration requirements for banking and third-party systems.
• Design and facilitate integrations with various platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
• E-commerce, OMS and ERP Integration:
• Leverage experience in e-commerce systems and Order Management Systems (OMS) such as Vinculum to drive integration and development efforts.
• Have experience integrating with S/4 HANA, preferable.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop solutions that enhance operational workflows.
• Project Management Support:
• Collaborate with the program manager to ensure that integration projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
• Assist in tracking project progress and providing technical guidance to the development team.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, integration processes, and security protocols.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training for team members on best practices and new technologies.

Requirements for Role of Ecommerce Technical Consultant

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must have experience in designing the architecture of EComm applications, ensuring they are scalable, robust, perform well, and secure.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in web application development and architecture.
• Experience with database design, development and management (e.g., SQL or Magento).
• Preferred to have EComm and OMS (Vinculum) integration/development experience.
• Experience in modelling and graphic representations
• Preferred to have certification in web application practices and methodologies.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (preferable in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, VSF, with Magento) for EComm business.
• EComm integration with ERP System (preferable S/4 HANA).
• Strong knowledge of web application security best practices.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Prepare architecture with Integration Architects for Banking, 3rd party system integration.
• Excellent in analytical, functional and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
