Duties of HSE Officer
- To support project HSE Manager and deputise in time of absence.
- To coordinate activities within the HSE Management System.
- To monitor the implementation of Project HSE Policies and Procedures.
- Provide guidance on HSE related issues to the Project Management.
- Complete workplace safety inspections and issue reports and findings.
- Maintain and update incident and action items registers.
- To assist in the safe planning of Project operations.
- Carry out risk assessment programs and reviews.
- Carry out toolbox talks and HSE related training as identified by project HSE Manager.
- Generate HSE reports as requested by project HSE Manager.
- Provide HSE supervision for risk related activities.
Requirements for Role of HSE Officer
The eligibility requirements for role of a HSE Officer are as under:
- NEBOSH General or International Certificate or Level 3 of OSH qualification.
- 5 years relevant experience in handling projects or engineering industry.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Fluent in English.
- HSE knowledge and experience within a dynamic construction project environment.
- Ability to execute the primary functions of a HSE Management System.
- Prefer MEP background.
