Mashreq Bank is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the job role of Business Planning & Analysis Manager. The role holder is responsible to assist Finance Manager Business Planning & Analysis in managing the financial and business planning process and implementation of CIBG Finance related initiatives. Ensure financial reporting and analytical support to CIBG frontline for ongoing business decisions.
Responsibilities of Business Planning & Analysis Manager
- Maintain an accurate and consistent management information reporting system at B/S and P&L level for different line of business, category of product, customer, risk rating, etc. including variance and trend analysis.
- Maintain the customer profitability reporting systems for CIBG and address the adhoc queries / clarifications from ROs / Division Heads / Group Head.
- Analyze and provide timely and accurate standard and adhoc MIS to the CIBG senior management and frontline for decision making.
- Provide support, where required, to Line Manager in the process of formulating Group’s strategic plan (Revenue and expense) and performance management systems.
- Provide assistance in the process of periodic financial / MBO reviews for selected Divisions / Team / RM and ensure follow up on actionable items agreed to.
- Analyze business and generate forecasts for the Group in consultation with the Divisional managers.
- Identify areas of financial inefficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Assist in validation of numbers / assumptions provided by line management for business initiatives and portfolio strategies.
- Provide back up to Finance Manager Business Planning & Analysis (CIBG) to ensure smooth support to business.
Requirements of Business Planning & Analysis Manager
The requirements of Business Planning & Analysis Manager are as under:
- Minimum CA / MBA (Finance).
- Over 5 years experience in Banking including financial reporting and database management. Sound understating of corporate banking products and services.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Sound knowledge of financial analysis and planning, accounting and portfolio management with high analytical skills to transform data into meaningful information for decision making.
