AECOM presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a GIS Engineer in Infrastructure Projects in Ubora Tower, Level 43. Al Abraj St. Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Operates independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsibilities at this level include the designing and programming of databases.
• Design and programming is needed for each project and can also be task specific.
• Uses more advanced levels within the software platforms.
• May direct the work of Level I and II GIS Specialists. Responsibilities could include overall project or task management.
• Independently executes and delivers GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity.
• Strong GIS background with previous experience on infrastructure projects Understanding of the requirements for regional regulatory entities in UAE & KSA.
• Full understanding of GIS works and infrastructure projects from Concept to IFC stage.
• Work towards digitization of design, innovations, and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across multiple projects.
• Good knowledge of using Civil3D.
• In-depth and strong understanding of UAE/ KSA authority Guidelines is a must.

Requirements for Role of GIS Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS.
• 10 years experience of working in an Engineering Design consultancy.
