Job Description
Communications & Media Manager at Damas Jewellery in Damas Jewellery, 2nd Floor, City Centre, Al Zahia, Sharjah, UAE will develop and implement their PR and Media strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive plan that includes strategy, goals, budget, and tactics. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Communications & Media Manager
- trategic Development: Create and implement a comprehensive Communication, Influencer Marketing and Media plan aligned with Damas’ business goals, including setting objectives, budget management, and tactical execution.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets, influencers, and industry leaders to secure high-level placements and enhance their share of voice (SOV).
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for press releases, byline articles, and other communications to effectively convey the Damas brand narrative.
- Public Relations Management: Oversee all public relations activities, including managing influencers and media inquiries and interview requests to ensure consistent messaging.
- Influencer Marketing: Design and execute influencer marketing strategies to amplify brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze and report on PR campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies based on insights and market trends to optimize results.
- Brand Awareness: Cultivate relationships with influencers and opinion leaders to enhance brand visibility and perception within the luxury sector.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, providing recommendations to align PR and media strategies with evolving market dynamics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including content, digital, event, retail, and external agencies to create cohesive marketing campaigns that drive traffic to stores.
Requirements for Role of Communications & Media Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, preferably within the luxury goods, fashion, or beauty sectors.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Strong relationships with media and influencers, particularly in the luxury and lifestyle sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
