Job Description

Merchandise Allocator at GMG Dubai GMG Building, Umm Hurair Rd, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE will be responsible for coordinating for PO & Stock delivery end to end (Vendor – DC – Store) to ensure timely delivery and maintaining good relationships with suppliers. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

  • Handling purchase orders, sales orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Monitoring stock levels, managing reorder points, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arranging transportation and tracking shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Liaising with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and resolve any issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments using supply chain management software.
  • Generating reports on supply chain metrics, such as order fulfillment rates, delivery times, and inventory levels.
  • Addressing and resolving supply chain issues, such as delays, shortages, and quality problems.
  • Working closely with other departments, such as purchasing, production, and sales, to align supply chain activities with company goals.
  • Co-ordinate with assigned shipping agent on shipment collection and movements.
  • Create IBD (inbound delivery) with carton ID in SAP.
  • Invoice upload in SAP against IBD.
  • Excess shortage claim from principle/vendor.
  • Coordinate RTV (return to vendor) process whenever required.
  • Manage product destruction locally upon request from Principle
  • Evolve and elevate existing tools to streamline supply chain process.

Requirements for Role of Merchandise Allocator

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or supply chain management.
