Job Description

Commercial Finance Analyst at MMI in dnata Travel Centre, Ground Floor, Sheikh Zayed Rd, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE will be responsible for providing meaningful and insightful financial analysis for critically evaluating current and future performance of the Group. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Commercial Finance Analyst

  • Reporting on key performance measures for the business on a weekly and monthly basis investigating and explaining key variances.
  • Work closely with Channel, Category and Marketing teams, supporting with insightful sales/margin/ promotional analysis ensuring the team understands the information.
  • Financial analysis and business case support for new product launches/trials.
  • GP margin and variance analyses.
  • Assist Commercial Finance Managers on month end process in review GL entries v commitments made, highlight any variance to overheads budget.
  • Review Segment & Store P&Ls and highlight any variances vs Budget and PY.

Requirements for Role of Commercial Finance Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in commercial/analytical roles preferably within the Retail or FMCG or F&B sector.
  • Proven experience in managing large data volumes and developing efficient data models.
  • Familiarity with the Retail sector and experience in budgeting & forecasting for multiple units.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Advanced skills in Excel and use of Business Intelligence Analytical tools (e.g. Power BI & Tableau).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have attention to detail.
