Job Description

NAFFCO is the leading manufacturers & suppliers of fire protection systems, fire fighting equipment, safety & security systems in multiple countries. Presently they has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a HMI Designer in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 5000-6000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of HMI Designer

  • Improve digital design.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HMI design and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Document design guidelines, standards and specifications for future reference.
  • MS office, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Figma.
  • Works on defining the visual design concept.
  • Continuously improve and update the HMl’s graphics and compare with the top Design Systems in the market.
  • Underwrite the strategic decisions with the rest of product programming teams.
  • Cooperate on projects with other experts and external suppliers.
  • To standardize style guide lines to create a consistent design for all HMl’s.
  • To make a high- quality library of products: guidelines, Ul screen designs, assets.

Requirements for Role of HMI Designer

  • Bachelors in Computer Application, Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Engineering).
  • 3 years experience in designing HMIs for software applications, embedded systems, or industrial control systems.
  • Experience with usability testing methodologies and conducting user research.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous HMI design projects and demonstrating a deep understanding of usability principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma.
