Job Description

IIQAF Groups is seeking a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join their team as a Billing Assistant who will will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and advance their career in finance and accounting. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Billing Assistant

  • Generate and process invoices for clients accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues raised by clients
  • Update and maintain client billing information in our database
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing and collection procedures are followed
  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service to answer billing-related inquiries and resolve any concerns
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports on billing activities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.

Eligibilty Requirements for Billing Assistant

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a professional services or finance industry.

Skills Desired

  • Strong knowledge of billing software and financial systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with billing laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
