Job Description
IIQAF Groups is seeking a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join their team as a Billing Assistant who will will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and advance their career in finance and accounting. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.
Duties of Billing Assistant
- Generate and process invoices for clients accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues raised by clients
- Update and maintain client billing information in our database
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing and collection procedures are followed
- Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service to answer billing-related inquiries and resolve any concerns
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payments
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports on billing activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.
Eligibilty Requirements for Billing Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a professional services or finance industry.
Skills Desired
- Strong knowledge of billing software and financial systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with billing laws and regulations is a plus.
- Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
