Job Description

An Portfolio Management Manager at Abu Dhabi Ports will play an instrumental role in the execution and management phases of strategic acquisitions, both in the GCC and internationally. Support the Senior manager in realizing and accelerating deal value, plan for a post-acquisition issue-free day-1 experience, in addition to regular performance tracking and reporting to ensure asset’s operations are aligned with AD Ports’ strategic digital initiatives. This is a senior level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 15000 AED to 30000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Portfolio Management Manager

  • Lead cross functional programs through a high impact and high-profile initiatives.
  • Understand both companies’ historical and forecasted financial performance and how the combined entity will perform.
  • Support the Senior Manager in building and managing the growth synergies (including identification, implementation and results tracking).
  • Lead portfolio research and understand priorities, operating needs, and responsibilities of the different work streams, and anticipate, plan, and solve cross‐functional interdependencies.
  • Assess and mitigate investment portfolio risks, reducing bottlenecks that hold up progress.
  • Support in tracking key performance indicators, assess portfolio risk-adjusted returns, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure the portfolio companies are achieving business plan targets, via the identification of bottlenecks for unlocking potential and finding solutions to extract value.
  • Co-ordinate and communicate with the internal finance teams to ensure performance of the portfolio is accurately reported to senior team members.
  • Support in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, reporting standards, and internal policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with clients and investors providing updates on portfolio performance.

  • Manage the investment portfolios including target, performance and risks.
  • Support in developing and implementing investment strategies and portfolio management tactics in line with the Digital Cluster financial objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Understand how the acquired company manages its business, where the competition is going and major trends in the respective industry.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators and competitors action to identify opportunities for growth and update strategies.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Portfolio Management Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
