System Engineering Manager ENEC

Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) / NAWAH (subsidiary of ENEC) is presently hiring for the job role of a Senior System Engineering Manager in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible to manage a system engineering approach to asset management in order to address medium term and long term issues and ensure the overall health of the plant’s monitored systems, including Balance of Plant systems (BOP), Nuclear Steam Supply Systems (NSSS), Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) systems. Duties of A Senior System Engineering Manager

• Designate the standards and metrics for evaluation of the system health and performance to provide a consistent benchmark for measuring assigned systems.
• Review the department’s effectiveness in managing system health and performance to improve plant reliability & effectiveness.
• Review the results of system performance monitoring, system walk down, and system health evaluation to ensure engineering staff are performing adequately.
• Review and validate proposed solutions for long-term system issues to improve long term system reliability.
• Develop department level priorities for long term plant equipment investment items to extend system life, improve or maintain system reliability.
• Monitor the impact of the preventive maintenance item definition and frequency to assess and report the impact on cost.
• Monitor trouble shooting results on assigned systems to ensure efficacy.
• Monitor system notebook management for assigned systems to ensure continued value is being derived.
• Support the assigned design change and modifications to ensure consistency with system plans.
• Support the management of assigned functional locations and Equipment master database to keep the databases current.
• Review and report technical review results on assigned procurement specifications to ensure useful and accurate specifications.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• APR-1400 or OPR-1000 maintenance and engineering experience.
• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years in a Managerial role and 2 years of Nuclear Power Plant engineering experience.
