Job Description

Springdale Indian School presently requires to employ vibrant & energetic candidate for job role of Homeroom Teacher in Sharjah. The Primary homeroom teacher will be responsible for facilitating the learning of students in the school. This job has recently been posted on school’s career website. Job Purpose of Homeroom Teacher

  • Facilitate the learning and teaching of students in the school.
  • Create lesson plans while incorporating technology.
  • Instruct and inspire students in Science, English and Math.

Job Duties of A Homeroom Teacher

  • Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities.
  • Fostering student engagement and participation in classroom activities, discussions and extracurricular activities.
  • Encourage learning through experience.
  • Provide support to the children’s learning environment.
  • Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources.
  • Develop appropriate teaching / guidance methodology and identify weak students.
  • Help develop the children’s basic skills, including speech and communication.
  • Observing, assessing and recording each child’s progress.
  • Maintain and schedule weekly and monthly activities.

Qualification & Experience

  • A bachelor’s or master degree or degree of BEd.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office and computer basic is a plus.
