Job Description

Al Tayer Group presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of a DriverĀ in Dubai, UAE. Al Tayer Group is a privately held holding company of UAE, established in 1979. Presently, the group has workforce in 6 countries in the Middle East, including around 200 stores and 23 showrooms in numerous markets in the Middle East. The company has its Headquarters in Dubai, UAE and employs around 9,000 people. It has partnered with world’s most Prestigious and Well-known retail, beauty and automotive brands, including Armani, Banana Republic, Harvey Nichols, Gap, Bloomingdales, Ford, Ferrari and Maserati.

Job Purpose of A Driver

  • To drive customers and company vehicles in a safe manner following traffic rules.
  • Project a professional image and behave in a courteous manner with internal and external customers.

Duties of A Driver

  • Move customerā€™s vehicles in/ out carefully as advised by service advisors.
  • Organize and guide customers in the reception to park their vehicles in an appropriate area.
  • Lay protective covers for seats & steering and hang mirror tags before sending the vehicles for repair.
  • Interact with the customer in a courteous way while receiving and delivering the vehicles.
  • Ensure the vehicles are kept clean before delivery.
  • Deliver loaner/ courtesy cars to customers.
  • Arrange to get the loaner cars agreement signed by them and forward to the concerned in-charge.
  • Incase of driving company vehicle, maintain appropriate mileage and service period as per manufacturer shcedule.
  • Incase of heavy duty driver, drive HD vehicle to transport vehicles and passengers following traffic rules.

Who Can Apply?

QualificationĀ 

  • High School / ā€œOā€ Level.Ā 

Experience

  • 2-3 years UAE experience.Ā 

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of written & spoken English.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance .
  • Thorough knowledge of city routes and roads essential.
  • A valid UAE driving license.
  • Pleasant personality with good grooming.
  • Exposure to multi-national / cultural environment.
