Job Description
Education industry in Dubai is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Daycare Staff. Responsibilities of Daycare Staff
- Supervise and engage with children in age appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational exercises.
- Ensure the safety and well being of all children in the daycare center, monitoring their activities and interactions at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child friendly environment, including tidying up play areas, sanitizing toys and equipment, and assisting with meal and snack preparation.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members, demonstrating warmth, patience, and understanding in all interactions.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene routines for infants and toddlers, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Implement daily schedules and routines, including nap times, meals, and structured activities, to promote consistency and predictability for children.
- Observe and document children’s behavior, development, and milestones, providing feedback and updates to parents and supervisors as needed.
- Collaborate with daycare center leadership and colleagues to plan and implement age appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for children.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance
- knowledge and skills in childcare practices and early childhood education.
Requirements of Daycare Staff
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in early childhood education or childcare is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required (training can be provided).
- Previous experience of 1-2 years working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Genuine love for children and a passion for providing nurturing care and support to help them thrive and develop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, flexibility, and a calm demeanor, especially in challenging or stressful situations.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles, health and safety regulations, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to lift and carry children, bend and stoop, and stand for extended periods during daily activities.
